Sausages cooked with apples and shallots

I love autumn! 

Tonight’s supper was simple, seasonal and delicious. 

I chopped a couple of cooking apples and some shallots from the garden into a ovenproof dish, put sausages and a handful of bacon on top and then put it into the oven for half an hour. 

I served it with some runner beans from my parents garden and, because I was feeling a little lazy, microwave brown rice.
